10 September 2010 :  “Too many false ideas”

Since yesterday, ReuniSAF organizes awareness in maternity, among others. Objective: To educate young parents about the ravages of alcohol on the fetus. Physical consequences at birth but especially on the behavioral attitude later. For Christine Robert, coordinating physician within the association, the message is clear: 0 alcohol for nine months.

Saint-Pierre – Prevention of fetal alcohol

Alcohol and pregnancy do not mix, and men have a role to play in the prevention of fetal alcohol syndrome. This is also an area is put  onward this year by the  Prevention Network  of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, which organized yesterday an action on the waterfront of St. Pierre.

06 septembre 2005 – Les fœtus n’aiment pas l’alcool – vendredi à Saint-Louis

Vendredi, Réunisaf organise une journée de sensibilisation aux méfaits de l’alcool sur le fœtus à Saint-Louis. D’autres actions seront également menées ailleurs dans l’île.

9 septembre 2005 – Un verre et c’est le fœtus qui trinque

Malformations, retard mental, troubles du comportement : la consommation d’alcool pendant la grossesse peut avoir des effets dévastateurs. Même à faible dose. A cause de cela, au moins 150 enfants…

Reunisaf network, which fights against alcohol during pregnancy, has just published « MIROIR DE VERRES « , a book built around ten life stories collected by the anthropologist Reine Marie Payet-Venom.
